Professor Ryan previously worked at Motschiedler, Michaelides, Wishon, Brewer & Ryan, LLP where she practiced civil ligation with an emphasis on employment law. From 2017 to 2019, she was a member of the Board of Directors for Resources for Independence Central Valley, a non-profit organization that serves as a hub for independent living services and disability resources. Currently, Professor Ryan is the Director of Legal Affairs and Compliance at Valley Health Team, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center, which provides primary care services in underserved urban and rural communities. In her role as Legal Director, she assists Valley Health Team with contracts, employee trainings, health care and legal compliance issues, and workplace investigations. As a student at San Joaquin, Professor Ryan served as Editor-in-Chief of the San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review, and she externed at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
