Professor Vasquez was appointed to the Fresno County Superior Court in 2023. Prior thereto, she was a Chief Defense Attorney at the Fresno County Public Defender Office and a Criminal Law Specialist certified by the California State Bar. From 2012-2013, Professor Vasquez practiced family law and dependency at Walters & Moshrefi. In 2013 she joined the Fresno County Public Defender Office where she practiced until 2023.
