David A. Prentice graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, with distinction. He was inducted into the Order of the Coif for “high attainments in the study of Law”. Professor Prentice has served as County Counsel, City Attorney and General Counsel to multiple public agencies and founded the firm prentice/ LONG P.C., where he continues to practice municipal law. Professor Prentice is also known as an established litigator with seven published decisions. He was admitted as a member of the United States Supreme Court in 2000. He is presently County Counsel to the Counties of Sierra and Colusa.
