Professor Chiappetta is a Judge of the Fresno County Superior Court. Prior to being appointed to the Court, he was a partner at Perkins Coie LLP, an international law firm with over 1,100 lawyers. His practice involved the litigation of complex commercial disputes, with a focus on antitrust and unfair business practice claims, class actions, contract and partnership disputes, and intellectual property matters. Professor Chiappetta has also served as an international enforcer, spending four years of his legal career in Australia prosecuting cases on behalf of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. Prior to being appointed to the bench, he was admitted to practice in California, New York, the District of Columbia, and Australia.
