Human Trafficking

Miiko Anderson is the founder and principal attorney of Miiko Anderson Law, a Fresno-based criminal defense and civil rights firm. A retired Senior Deputy District Attorney with the Fresno County District Attorney's Office, she served as a specialty unit prosecutor handling Gang, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Human Trafficking cases, taking over 60 cases to jury trial and securing convictions against some of Fresno County's most violent offenders.

A California Certified Criminal Law Specialist, Ms. Anderson is the recipient of the 2023 Suzanne McDaniel Congressional Bipartisan Crime Victims Award and a TEDx speaker. She serves as President of the Black Lawyers Association of Central California and as Policy and Legal Advisor to Breaking the Chains, a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources to survivors of human trafficking.
