“As professors, we have an obligation to go beyond simply teaching the contents of the assigned casebook or preparing students for an exam. Students need more than that to thrive as law students and – more importantly – as lawyers. One cannot truly understand the law solely by knowing its contents; rather, it is essential to understand the reason that the law has developed to where it stands today. It is up to us to bring the law alive and help students gain that understanding, which will not only help them in their studies but in their careers and lives." - David P. Chiappetta
