Professor Baum has served as an Adjunct Professor at SJCL for two years. She served as a full-time tenured professor of law at the University of New Mexico School of Law in Albuquerque, where she taught Property Law, Intellectual Property, Animal Law, Commercial Law, and Legal Ethics. She also previously taught in the law schools of University of Minnesota, University of Connecticut, and the University of South Carolina.

Devon McTeer

Professor McTeer has extensive experience in the defense of business and complex commercial litigation matters, fraud, unfair competition, corporate and partnership disputes, and professional malpractice. She also has significant experience defending hospitals, medical groups, and physicians in matters relating to healthcare litigation. Devon has taught at SJCL for 7 years.
Tina Botts
Ph.D. in Philosophy from University of Memphis

Teaches: Race and the Law
Professor Botts is currently a Visiting Scholar at Dartmouth College. Prior to this appointment she was an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Fresno State specializing in Philosophy of Law. In addition to SJCL, Dr. Botts has held teaching positions at Oberlin College, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. She has written a book “For Equals Only: Race, Equality, and the Equal Protection Clause” and she is currently working on a project on hate speech and a law review article on the expansion of due process.

Jason P. Hamm

Teaches: Employment Law, Business Organizations, and Remedies I and II.
Professor Hamm is the General Counsel of Valley Yellow Pages. Prior to this he was an associate with Lang, Richert & Patch, where he specialized in employment and business litigation. Professor Hamm has taught at SJCL for 16 years.
