The U.S. Trustee Program presently is seeking resumes from persons who are interested in being appointed as a chapter 7 trustee in the Eastern District of California, in chapter 7 bankruptcy cases filed primarily in the Fresno Division. Chapter 7 trustees get paid based on how many no-asset cases they administer ($60 per case), plus they get a sliding scale of statutory percentages from moneys they distribute in cases where there are assets.
