David was influenced to go to law school by a high school teacher who convinced him that law would help him change peoples’ lives. This resonated with David because his father, a field worker, had been injured several times but never got significant compensation. David joined the Goldberg Law firm immediately after passing the bar in 2010. In 2013, David became a partner and the firm became Goldberg & Ibarra. The work is predominantly in Workers’ Compensation, largely for field workers, with some personal injury and Social Security cases. “Law school was like a roller coaster, scary – then fun, but you come out of it alive and stronger. I am reminded every day that I am able to give people the help they deserve in situations they may not understand.”
