Yrulegui & Roberts, a Fresno-based workers' compensation defense law firm, is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated associate with a strong work ethic. Candidate must be based in California. We require 0-5 years of experience in workers' compensation defense and/or employment law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Duties
- Represent clients in legal proceedings such as hearings, trials, and depositions
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide advice and support to clients
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Prepare and present oral arguments in court
- Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to develop case strategies
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Pay: $90,000 - $175,000 per year
