Fresno Civil Rights Leader, founder of the California Advocate, and former Fresno City Council Member Les Kimber
joins Professors Jeffrey G. Purvis and Justin Atkinson in a discussion of Affirmative Action in light of current Supreme Court arguments which could affect educational institutions nationwide. Kimber, who was raised in a family of sharecroppers, discusses Affirmation Action as reparation for assets earned from black labor in the past which now are enjoyed by the white descendents of those involved in slavery and sharecropping.
