Under the Higher Education Act (HEA), post-secondary schools that offer federal financial aid are required to make a good faith effort to distribute state voter registration forms to each of its students. The forms must be distributed at least 60 days before the cut-off date to register to vote for federal and gubernatorial elections, as well as special elections for federal office.
SJCL maintains copies of voter registration forms by the student mail boxes and/or in the student lounge and at the front desk, in the Administrative offices. Voter registration forms may also be obtained online at: Voter Registration Form.
