Kathy Hart (Seiler)

Class of 1977

Kathy has been self-employed as “Law Offices of Katherine Hart,” as a criminal law practitioner and labor and employment law litigator for over 20 years. She is on the Fresno County Superior Court special circumstance and death penalty homicide panel, and on the Federal Criminal Justice Act panel.

She is a mother to 5 children and was the valedictorian of San Joaquin College of Law in 1977. She was elected Fresno County Bar Association President in 1992-1993 and received an award for being one of the founding editors of the Fresno County Bar Bulletin, the official publication of the Fresno County Bar Association.

Kathy is active in VIP Mentors (formerly Volunteers in Parole), an organization that matches parolees with attorney mentors. She is also an outings volunteer for the Tehipite Chapter of the National Sierra Club, leading hikes and backpacks in the Sierra. Kathy was a founding editor of the Fresno County Bar Bulletin.
