Due to the high demand for our services, we are seeking an entrepreneurial leader to enhance our fundraising efforts. The Director of Development will play a crucial role in expanding and sustaining our fundraising programs, increasing support from individuals, companies, private foundations, and government sources. They will report directly to the Executive Director and help achieve the organization's fundraising goals.
We are looking for a creative and inclusive professional who can inspire individuals and organizations to join our community of funders. The Development Director should have a passion for legal aid and social justice. They will collaborate with the Board of Directors and Executive Director to establish partnerships and act as a spokesperson for our mission in the community. The Development Director will supervise a team of three including: Deputy Director of Development, Senior Grants Manager, and Development Associate. The Development Director will be responsible for leading fundraising and communications efforts across multiple offices. They will develop innovative grant fundraising strategies aligned with our mission, including activities such as prospecting, cultivation, and stewardship. The Development Director will also work closely with the Director of Pro Bono and Strategic Partnerships to secure financial and program support from law firms.
Salary: $101,580 to $114,252 per year
