James Mugridge is a Staff Attorney at the State Court of Appeal. Prior to that, he served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Anthony Ishii, Senior District Judge in the Eastern District of California. Prior to and during his legal education he spent several years working in a criminal defense office where he wrote motions, writs, and appeals. In law school, he was a member of SJCL’s 2013 Traynor Moot Court team which took the Roger J. Traynor Trophy for best oral advocacy.
