As I prepare to relocate to Iowa at the end of September, there are so many best wishes and thanks I wish I had the time to give or offer in person. Alas, I do not have that time. So I write to you all here in an effort to bid you a very fond farewell.

To the students I have had the pleasure of teaching: You are an amazing group of individuals who challenged me and made me a better professor than I'd ever hoped to be. Whatever understanding or help I may have given you, was truly my pleasure. I will miss being a small part of your journey. I wish you all nothing but the best for your legal careers and professional futures, wherever that journey may take you. Kudos to you and your loved ones on your astounding achievements to date, and in the future.

To the faculty at SJCL: Many of you were my instructors as well, and it was a great pleasure to learn from you, and to work alongside you. You make this institution outstanding. Never waver in your efforts to keep SJCL the shining star it is. It was an absolute honor and a privilege to be counted among you. Thank you all for your wisdom and advice.

To the administration & staff: Every single team member is important in an organization such as SJCL. And you are a phenomenal group of people, each and every one. Your support and leadership were greatly appreciated. Your friendship even more so. Keep up your fight to make SJCL shine.

Should you find yourself visiting Iowa someday, I hope you'll look me up. I'd love to hear about all of the wonderful people and things that are surely in store for SJCL, its students, faculty and staff.

Happy trails,
Professor Shannon Harding
