Chapman Law, P.C. is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 0-3 years of experience who excels at strategic problem-solving and preventive lawyering. You will:
- Develop cost-conscious litigation strategies, prioritizing resolution and delivering efficient trial advocacy when needed.
- Draft pleadings, dispositive and procedural motions, and conduct/defend depositions.
- Manage discovery, case calendars, and client communications from intake through verdict or settlement.
- Collaborate with teammates to refine checklists and training materials that advance our preventive approach.
What You’ll Bring
- 0-3 years of hands-on civil-litigation experience (hearings, trials, depositions, motion practice).
- Superior analytical, research, writing, and client-communication skills.
- Familiarity with California and, ideally, Central Valley court rules and procedures.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active membership in the State Bar of California.
- A mindset that values practical solutions, collegial teamwork, and efficient use of client resources.
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 DOE
