The Legal Representative – Affirmative Immigration Services provides direct legal assistance, case coordination, and client support for immigrants seeking affirmative immigration benefits. This role ensures that all legal services comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as ELF’s case management policies and ethical standards.
The Legal Representative assists clients with Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, DACA Applications, Naturalization, Citizenship Acquisition & Derivation, Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) Renewals, Advance Parole, Parole-in-Place, U-Visas, VAWA, and other humanitarian relief benefits. Working closely with DOJ-accredited representatives, attorneys, and case workers, this position guides clients through the application process, provides legal information, and ensures accurate documentation and case tracking. The Legal Representative also collaborates with community partners, participates in legal workshops, and helps expand access to immigration legal services.
