A record number of glowing evaluations filled the suggestion basket at this year’s annual Senior Citizens Law Day, presented by the Alumni Association of San Joaquin College of Law, in conjunction with Central California Legal Services (CCLS). This year’s free seminar included sessions on: Estate Planning with Deborah Boyett; Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Other Plans with Joy Dockter; Elder Abuse with Detective Drew Mosher of the Clovis Police Department; and Local Scams Targeting the Elderly with Deputy District Attorney Sabrina Ashjian.
The SJCL Alumni Association wishes to thank the volunteer attorneys from CCLS, our volunteer speakers, and our volunteer student assistants for making this event a much-appreciated community service year after year.
